A few words from & about me, DJ Sloan lee- EVENT DJ & MUSIC CURATOR

Music has always been a huge part of my life. My father had a massive record collection, which he regularly entertained friends with. A giant collection of 50's, 60's , 70's and 80's music... from R&B, Motown, disco and funk (these are my roots), to classic pop/rock and country. I've been studying and collecting music since I was 8 and I haven't stopped. In 2005 I bought some turntables and a mixer and taught myself how to DJ on vinyl. I started DJing at parties, clubs and private events and for clients such as W Hotels. I have a degree in audio engineering and production (a plus when you're a DJ) and I also have a degree in psychology and philosophy- also a plus when you're a DJ haha.) When I'm not putting together music for my couples and clients (or DJing their events), I'm on the hunt for new music finds. I'm always a student trying to improve upon my music production skills and knowledge. I love to travel, yoga and pretty much any adventure, as well as laughing as much as possible and spending time with my loves (my dogs & partner).
